Sandler plays a rich plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills who wears a wedding ring and pretends to be married so he can engage in commitment-free sex with a parade of honeys. The only person who knows about his lying strategy is his long-suffering office manager, played plainly by Jennifer Aniston.

Sandler and Aniston share an easy-going patter that is one of the film’s few bright spots.
